Cans for Christ
What a great idea! What a simple idea! I have to give credit to my friend, David Bast. He implemented it at his church down in Tampa. A member of my church had an extra garbage can so I designed the decal. My local print shop took awhile to finish the decal because they had to send it off somewhere to have the job completed but I think it was worth the wait.
It’s been months since I started this blog and now I’m finishing it. Yay!
Am very happy to say that this Cans for Christ sees a lot of use. My friend who collects all the scrap metal said he recently received 1250 cans in one month. Not all come from our receptacle but it gives me hope.
