Tale of Two Teslas
I don’t often see a Tesla when I am out and about, especially out in the boonies where I live. When I go to Gainesville I occasionally get lucky; however, today I parked by one. Two little Teslas all in a row. How cool is that?
I read that about five and a half million electric cars are on the road, worldwide. The chart below breaks it down for you. Experts believe the EV market will explode in 2022. That’s when they reach parity with ICE vehicles (internal combustion engine). Basically, that means electric car will be much cheaper. Cost is still keeping a lot of people from going electric. As you can see below, the electric car is really catching on in China. They must know something we don’t. The study I read estimates that by 2040 we’ll have almost seventy million electric cars worldwide. For the Earth’s sake I hope we have much more and that ICE vehicles disappear.
