Lego Goes Green

Lego has gone green!

Did you know that new Lego bricks are made from poly ethanol that comes from sugar cane instead of plastic from fossil fuels?

The company says that by 2030 all their products and packaging will be totally sustainable.

Levi-Strauss now uses hemp as well as cotton to make jeans. Hemp is a much more environmentally friendly crop than cotton. Read about it here.

Many other large corporations are also following the “green pathway”. It’s good for business.

I don’t think all these companies are doing a bang up job of saving the planet but at least it’s a start. We all have to do our part to save the planet. God wants it that way because . . .
