EDIBLE SPOONS
It’s been a long time since I’ve blogged. There’s so much bad news on the ecological scene and I get depressed which leads to inaction. Sad but true.
Well, here’s something to get excited about
EDIBLE SPOONS!
They come from a company called IncrEDIBLE Eats and I bought two thousand of them. You know there’s a long story behind that. Not going to tell it now.

My church throws away a lot of plastic spoons while consuming dessert (mainly ice cream). These spoons are a Godsend. We will use them every Wednesday night to cut down our consumption of single use plastic. The spoons are sturdy but they don't taste that good; however, they can always go into the scrap bucket. This goes to feed the hogs or the chickens. I live in the country and some church members raise animals for food. They are happy to take our food scraps.
Waste that doesn’t go to waste is not wasted.
You can buy them for sweet dishes or savory dishes. The company also sells sporks. I carry metal sporks in my purse so I don’t have to use plastic cutlery when I’m at a party or a family gathering where everything is throw-away.
A great buy for the environment.
