Beaten Path: Composting Made Easy

I’ve been wanting to write this blog for two months and have finally pushed other concerns aside in order to complete it.

If you’re a city dweller composting is hard but now there’s a company in Gainesville who makes it easier for you: Beaten Path.

Beaten Path represents “green Practices” in Gainesville. All you have to do is buy their green compost bucket for $20. Your next step is to take your bucket to one of their collection spots and dump your compostable materials into their big green garbage can. They handle the rest. The Wednesday afternoon Farmer’s Market in downtown Gainesville is a great place to begin your composting adventure. You can meet a company representative there and they’ll get you started.

To learn more click here and it will take you to their Facebook page.

Here’s a picture I took of Harry, one of Beaten Path’s dedicated workers.
